一本の針、一筋の糸 布に該当するベースがあれば刺繍はできます。 布に下絵をつけ、数十種に及ぶ繍法の中から デザインに合ったものを選びます。 糸の素材と太細、撚糸と無撚糸、 数限りない糸の色という表現手法を用いて どのようにも表現できる自在性を特色とします。 刺繍の始まりを推測しますと、 布と布を接続するときに出来た、ｘｘｘや---の ステッチが装飾として認識されたのではないか それらがその後、接続法としての「縫い」 「刺子」に代表される、保温補強としての「刺し」 そして多色を用いて文様を縫い表し ていく「繍」 （ぬい）として発達してきたように考えます。 刺繍は文様表現としては極めて素朴な技法です。 ゆえに色彩の細やかさや広がり、線と面の自由な 表現は、これからも人々の暮らしの中で 日本の伝統文化、伝統工芸として生かされ 育まれることを願っています。 Harmony of string which moves freely Japan embroidery String which one needle and is line It is possible to embroider it if there is a base which corresponds to the cloth.
